Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Sextet perform as part of WNYC's Centennial Broadcast at the Greene Space

On July 8, 2024, WNYC celebrtated exactly 100 years on the air. The occassion was marked with a special broadcast live broadcast from The Greene Space, which featured Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Sextet as the house band, with guest vocalists J’Nai Bridges and Lucía Gutiérrez Rebolloso. The show also featured Tony-winning performer Sarah Jones alongside veteran WNYC hosts John Schaefer and Brooke Gladstone.
